Lockdown learning 6 September: language techniques & podcast celebrations

Some awesome interviewing last week - ka mau te wehi!

Today we are going to expand our language techniques kete.  We will gain confidence with using a range of techniques, including:
  • rhetorical question
  • similes, metaphor, personification
  • hyperbole
  • alliteration
  • onomatopeia
  • assonance
  • rhyme
  • rhythm
  • anecdote
  • antonym
  • jargon
  • imperative
If you didn't finish your podcast last week, we can troubleshoot that and you can work on it this week.

I will also set some reading comprehension work focused on language techniques for you to do during this week.  Hopefully I will see you in class very soon!
