For now, what I want you to do is to keep reading and finding out about a Māori or Pasifika person who has made a significant contribution to Aotearoa New Zealand. I will add some more resources over the next 24 hours. You can read up about several people without needing to zoom in on a particular person straight away - one of our goals here is to widen our understanding of the many and important ways in which Māori and Pasifika people have led the way in Aotearoa New Zealand, so its good to learn about several.
